Steamworks Mhw

  • The steam works basically means that as you can get platinum tickets it’s a way of you grinding to get what I imagine will be the likes of mantles at end game if monster ring drops are screwing you.
  • Festivals are the best moment to both farm and use Steamworks fuel in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. You only need about 5,000 fuel to send Steamworks into overdrive instead of the usual 15,000 fuel (if you set it x10 output). It also drops more rewards like Steel, Silver, Gold, and Celestial Tickets.
  • In Seliana, it's possible to play a minigame at the Steamworks facility in which you have to guess the correct sequence of 3 button presses, which seems to be completely random. Is there a trick to.

  • Elder Melder: Melding Items(Including Tickets for Festival Gear)

ELDER MELDER

The Elder Melder is where you will be able to turn your excess materials into materials you need by paying a certain amount of Research Points. It is very important to learn everything that this shop offers if you want to acquire more effortlessly what you are looking for.

There are three entries in the melding menu you want to particularly pay attention to during the story. These are Meld Items, Meld Decorations and Guild Alchemy. About the others: First Wyverian Ritual allows you to turn unwanted decorations into feystones, which give you new decorations, but I don’t recommend it unless you have a huge amount of excess decorations and you already unlocked Soul Stream III; and Sealing/Awakening/Guiding Alchemies will only matter once you reach the endgame.

Melding Items

This menu lets you transform your materials into an array of different items. While melding Dash Juice or Demondrugs can be helpful, there are three main important items you want to be melding during your story progression: Festival Tickets, Melding Tickets and Gems/Mantles. Melding for Tickets is available after the M1* quest “Banbaro Blockade”, while melding for Gems/Mantles is available as soon as the Elder Melder is unlocked.

Festival Tickets can be acquired daily by logging in or completing daily quests during any of the seasonal festivals. You can meld any festival ticket into any other festival ticket at a 3:1 ratio. VIP tickets – which can be acquired randomly as a quest reward during festivals – can also be melded into normal or VIP festival tickets. This allows you to get any festival gear you want regardless of what festival is currently going on.

Melding Tickets can be acquired through Steamworks during festival or as rewards for specific quests (see Key Event Quests section below). Melding Tickets can be melded into each other at various ratios. For a better explanation of how to use Melding Tickets, see Guild Alchemy section below.

Gems/Mantles are the rarest items every monster can drop. Melding for most MR Gems/Mantles is unlocked after the 5* quest “The Second Coming”, although Fey Wyvern Gems can be melded at 3* (after “Blizzard Blitz”) and Large Wyvern Gems at 4*(after “The Thunderous Troublemaker!”). You will need 1 Celestial Wyverian Print for every single Master Rank Gem or Mantle you want to meld. You can get up to 2 guaranteed Celestial Wyverian Prints per week: one for completing the weekly bounties and one as a Steamworks reward. You can also get more Prints from Steamworks if you’re lucky enough.

Guild Alchemy

Guild Alchemy is where you’ll be able to turn Melding Tickets into decorations. The interesting part about Melding Tickets is that instead of giving you decorations from various rarities like Feystones, each Ticket will only give you decorations of a specific rarity “tier”, which makes finding certain decorations much easier than through regular farming.

There are four different types of Melding Tickets. Here’s the list of the important decorations that each one of them can drop:

  • STEEL MELDING TICKET: Expert Jewel 1, Tenderizer Jewel 2, Elementless Jewel 2
